Mix and match lets customers build their own bundle: you define one or more sections (for example “Choose a top”, “Choose a bottom”), each pulling from a set of products or a collection, and the customer picks items from each section to assemble their bundle. It’s the offer type to use when you want customer choice, but still want the flexibility to control which products qualify.

Building sections

Each section has:
  • Title and subtitle — for example “Grip Tape” / “Add 1 item from this section”
  • Source — either specific products (and their variants) or a whole collection
  • Item count — how many items the customer must pick from this section to fill it
  • Required — whether the section must be filled before the bundle can be added to cart, and a placeholder shown before it is
Add as many sections as the bundle needs. Customers fill each one, and a running total updates as they go. The bundle gets its own product page on your storefront, where the section builder lives.

Discount and copy

  • Discount — apply a bundle-wide discount as a percentage or a fixed amount off once all required sections are filled
  • Header and description — the heading and supporting text shown above the section builder (for example “Build your perfect bundle”)
  • Badge text — an optional highlight badge (for example “Save 20%”)
  • Call-to-action button text — customize the add-to-cart label and the label shown while it’s adding to cart

Options

  • Countdown timer — same countdown component available on other offer types, to add urgency.
  • Show related products — optionally show related products below the builder.
  • Redirect to checkout — send customers straight to checkout when they add the bundle.
  • Quantity input — let customers adjust the quantity of each selected item within a section.

Design

Colors, fonts, borders, corner radius, and badge style are all configurable — see Design customization for details that apply across every offer type.
