# Frequently bought together

> Suggest complementary products next to the item a customer is viewing

Frequently bought together shows a "Buy it with" section on the product page: the product a customer is viewing plus one or more suggested products, pre-selected as a set. Customers can deselect items they don't want, and the discount applies to whichever items stay selected.

## Trigger products

Choose which product pages show the offer:

* **Specific products** — pick individual trigger products
* **Specific collections** — the offer appears on every product page inside the collections you choose

## Suggested products

For each trigger, you can add suggestions from three sources:

* **AI suggestions** — automatically suggested based on what's commonly bought together
* **Same collection** — pull suggestions from a collection the trigger product belongs to
* **Specific products** — manually pick the exact products (and optionally which variants) to suggest

You can combine multiple suggestions on the same trigger, and reorder them.

## Discount

Set a percentage discount that applies when a customer keeps the suggested items selected. Options include:

* **Limit total uses** — cap how many times the discount can be redeemed in total
* **One use per customer** — restrict each customer to redeeming it once
* **Require a minimum number of products selected** — the discount only applies once a minimum number of items are selected
* **Exclude the trigger product from the discount** — apply the discount only to the suggested add-on products, not the item the customer was already viewing

## Copy and behavior

* **Complete/incomplete selection text** — the message shown once enough items are selected versus while the customer still needs to add more
* **Call-to-action button text** — customize the add-to-cart label
* **Redirect to checkout** — send customers straight to checkout after adding, instead of the cart page
* **Layout** — **Stacked** (a vertical list) or **Card slider** (a horizontally scrollable row of product cards)
